Darden Restaurant Group had recently acquired Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and needed to create a brand identity unique to its portfolio of brands.
Social listening revealed the exceptionally high positive sentiment customers expressed for the brand. Cheddar’s fans had a passion for the brand they loved to express.

We played with category conventions by having a chef who had equal passion for guests’ comments as he does for food. Leading to a campaign that inspired guests to #saycheddar.

Online video delivered the brand message, while programmatic display, search and social, as well as CRM supported with product messaging.
