Melony Rios
Chief Executive Officer
A media veteran of 25 years and with NOVUS for over 20, Melony leads our NOVUS as Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Melony is responsible for the strategic direction and operations of NOVUS while simultaneously championing clients, challenging status quos in the industry, and driving critical change across the organization. Her ability to craft advantageous strategies for the future and our clients not only uniquely positions NOVUS as a competitive advantage to our clients, but ensures we are aggressively innovating as the marketplace, as our strategic partners and consumers continue to evolve. -
Rob Davis
President & Chief Marketing Officer
Rob is a 25+ year veteran of the agency world, making the leap from Starcom to NOVUS in 2018 to accelerate NOVUS’ multimedia capabilities. He is known as an agent of change, helping reshape the agency as well as individual accounts and positioning for the future. In his years at Starcom, Rob led the Allstate insurance account including Allstate Financial, and he won Gold Lions and Effies for media effectiveness. He also became a local/ regional media expert planning and buying local media for P&G, and later highly localized media for Anthem Blue Cross and Airbnb. Since joining NOVUS, Rob has focused on helping evolve the agency with new service models, tools, and approaches. In his role, Rob is overseeing NOVUS Next, the unit of NOVUS that is focusing on geospatial, multichannel media planning and buying. -
Montrew Newman
VP & Managing Director, Integrated Client Strategy
Montrew is responsible for leading the NOVUS’ multimedia planning and buying capability. She is a creative-minded media strategist with 20+ years of experience across a portfolio of complex Retail, QSR, Financial and CPG clients. During her 12-year tenure at OMD, Montrew led PetSmart, PepBoys, Pier 1, bel brands as well as a local media practice including McDonald's of Chicago, State Farm local, and Illinois/Hoosier/Georgia Lotteries. Montrew transformed her clients’ traditional media mixes by successfully expanding them into social, video, streaming radio, search, display, and programmatic arenas. Montrew has a proven track record of driving business results and increasing ROI through strategic media planning and strong local marketplace activation for a broad range of categories. -
Nik Hengle
VP, Localytics
Nik is a NOVUS boomerang, rejoining the NOVUS team in August of 2018 to advance our geospatial (local) analytics practice, Localytics. The focus of the Localytics team is “to enable better decision making,” which is done by transforming disparate data into insight-generating analytic solutions used for ROI-based print and multimedia planning & optimization. He and his team are the brainpower behind the suite of our proprietary planning tools such as local marketing intelligence tool, DepthFinder, and response-driven channel-mix optimizer, MMMaxer. Nik brings 15+ years agency and client-side experience in marketing analytics at Digitas, Target and Ascena Retail Group. His analytical breadth is across traditional and digital media planning, website optimization & personalization, omni-channel marketing measurement, and Test & Learn disciplines.
