As the CDC declared insomnia an epidemic, affecting more than 60 million Americans, our client Merck came to us wanting to educate the public on the leading causes of the often-debilitating condition.
The causes are many but as scientific discoveries lead to a greater understanding of how our brains regulate our sleep and wake cycles, our “Avatar” campaign set out to explain the science and prepare insomnia suffers to ask for help and guidance from their doctor. By providing a basic understanding of the science, we gave our audience the tools they need to have a more informed, educated, and productive conversation.
