As Orgain looked to expand beyond its leadership in clean nutrition, the brand identified an opportunity to break into the competitive hydration category. The challenge: how to differentiate from traditional electrolyte drinks and tell a distinctly Orgain story — one centered on clean hydration plus the added power of superfoods. The goal was to create a rapid rehydration powder that wasn’t just functional, but elevated.
Solution:
Canopy partnered with Orgain to create a new hydration product from the ground up. We developed the strategic positioning to carve out a unique space in the market: clean, effective hydration enhanced with nutrient-rich superfoods. From there, we crafted the product name — Hydro Boost — and built a tone of voice that balanced everyday lifestyle appeal with functional credibility.
We also designed the packaging to stand out in the crowded hydration aisle — vibrant, fresh, and energetic, while maintaining Orgain’s clean, trustworthy aesthetic. The design clearly communicated the dual benefits of hydration + superfoods, giving consumers an immediate understanding of why this product was different.
