To support and nurture the creativity and success of its artists and creators, YouTube created YouTube Space to host and teach the craft of video production in pop-up and virtual settings. Our team at ADVOC8 was thrilled to help build and host the two-day pop-up music video recording session for 21 of its hottest hip-hop artists. The excitement took place at none other than Atlanta’s famed Tree Sound Studios. Creating buzz for the event, we produced a BTS sizzle reel with interviews from five high-profile hip-hop artists, including Big Boi and David Banner.
Shooting and editing 21 unique music videos within a 48-hour window requires agility. So, we designed modular light-based sets with state-of-the-art, remote LED technology that could be synced and programmed in real-time.
These quick lighting changes gave each artist their moment to shine on a stage that lit up uniquely for them. Every star deserves start treatment, so we delivered it with:
• Music & video producer support
• Production crews
• Staging in a ready-to-go production environment
