To help Instagram drive new app installs amongst teens, we made the routine of everyday life more fun: making “boring less boring.” Using the very same platform we were promoting, we showed teens that they didn’t need to be photography experts to post on the platform by advertising easy-to-create content. Our 5,000 assets drove 2M downloads, making it Instagram’s most successful campaign in 2018.
