When Bojangles needed to tout the fact that their chicken sandwich is as bold as their brand, we delivered Larry: a CGI chicken character designed to turn heads and differentiate Bojangles from a sea of sameness in the QSR category.

Brought to life entirely in-house to star in the campaign ‘Meet Larry,’ which included four different spots for OTT, broadcast TV and social media, Larry reflects the rare level of skill and capabilities found under our roof. From 3D modeling, UVs and texturing, feathers and hair, to detailed character animation, lighting, rendering and compositing, our animators leveraged a number of complex techniques to deliver the final product, complete with 1.8 million (yes, million) hairs, 23,150 feathers, 53 bones and 107 joints, all of which work together to make Larry's every move look remarkably real.

What’s more, the quirky brand character wasn’t just an impressive animation. He was a strategically devised brand asset. Since his debut in June of 2022, Bojangles’ overall mentions have skyrocketed.
