Chris Bartlett
Chief Executive Officer
Chris Bartlett is the CEO of GEM Advertising. He is the 2009 Connecticut Small Business Person of the Year, and a serial entrepreneur with four companies in marketing, retail, e-commerce and facility management. In 2013, Chris was published in the Great Poets Across America publication, the cornerstone of National Poetry Month, among other publications to date. In 2011 he was selected as a New Media Pioneer by Google. Chris also serves on the board of the Connecticut Convention and Sports Bureau. -
Peter Kozodoy
Chief Strategy Officer
Peter Kozodoy is the Chief Strategy Officer at GEM Advertising. He and the GEM Team have won Telly, Davey, Pixie, Aurora, W3 and Communicator Awards for outstanding work in branding, advertising and production. Peter is a Summa cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate in Economics and Italian Studies from Brandeis University in Massachusetts. He currently serves on the Boards of both the Greater New Haven Chamber and Junior Achievement of Southwest New England, a non-profit that teaches entrepreneurship to children. -
Brian Mullen
Chief Financial Officer
Brian spent over 13 years in commercial branch banking in the greater New Haven area, leaving commercial banking in 2001 for the nonprofit world where he managed budgets, endowments, physical plants and HR. -
Gary Doyens
Director of Media Planning
Gary has more than 30 years of experience in all things media, beginning as a newspaper and broadcast journalist before migrating to sales, marketing and program development across the United States, including roles at ABC, CBS, WB and PBS. -
Spencer Mahar
Art Director
Spencer graduated at the top of his class at Green Mountain College, and has also seasoned his passion for graphic design and extensive knowledge of marketing through coursework at the Yale School of Art.
