Ben Johnston
Agency Business Owner
As the owner and CEO of MBI, Ben’s focus is hiring best in class media and marketing professionals and providing them with the best tools and work environment to grow their clients’ business. Ben manages the overall growth and daily operations of the company and actively oversees all departments, including sales and account management, planning and buying, IT, accounting and human resources. Ben’s 35 years in the media industry started when he founded an executive gift catalog and was one of the original founders of The Robb Report Magazine. In January of 1991, he negotiated his first remnant print deal in a major home decorating magazine, saving his new client tens of thousands of dollars. The publication eliminated the remnant space, received a new advertiser and earned money for space that would have otherwise gone unsold. MBI was born! Ben’s favorite aspect of his position is creating win win deals for MBI’s clients and vendors. He takes pride in knowing that both advertisers and publishers benefit from deals that make both parties happy and eager to do business together on an ongoing basis. Outside of MBI, Ben is passionate about playing guitar and competing in sports car races such as GT and Formula racing. -
Rohit Rathore
Group COO
Rohit joined MBI in 2020, he leads overall strategy and execution of the company. He collaborates with the business owner and leadership team to support all functions including business development, media operations, technology, marketing and finance in order to ensure an outstanding customer experience across MBI’s business portfolio. Rohit has 20+ years of experience in MediaTech industry in leading business transformation programs of media companies including Trusted Media Brands, Cox, Tribune and Morris Communications, large technology consulting firms and startups. He has led creative & digital marketing agencies, designed advertising operations solutions and built advertising sales platforms for traditional as well as digital media. Rohit is passionate about bringing innovative marketing solutions to the customers and promotes a “Customer First” culture at MBI. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and traveling. -
Dalton A. Lee
CFO
Dalton A. Lee joined MBI in 2021 and is responsible for all finance, human resources, and strategic planning functions. Before that, Lee was Vice President of Finance for the Local Media Group of Meredith Corporation. He served in this role from 2008 to 2013 and had oversight responsibility for all accounting, finance, and strategic planning for Meredith’s group of 16 television stations, with revenues of $700M. Lee joined Meredith Corporation in 2001 as Group Controller. Before joining, Meredith Lee held several senior financial positions, including Director of Finance at USA Broadcasting’s (now NBC/Comcast) flagship station (WAMI-TV) in Miami, Florida. He also served as Vice President of Finance at KDFW-TV in Dallas, Texas. Lee is a past Chairman of the Board of Media Financial Managers Association, the industry’s leading organization for financial professionals. He has spoken at national and regional conferences on the topic of generating efficiencies in financial operations through centralization and automation. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Bank of Montserrat and serves as Chairman of its Audit & Compliance Committee and is a member of its investment committee. Lee was one of the founders of the bank which opened for business in September 1988. Lee is a 1986 magna cum laude graduate of Northeastern University in Boston and a graduate of Southern Methodist University Executive Management Training Program. -
Lisa Pilger
EVP, Integrated Media Services
Lisa joined MBI in 2014, as Media Resource Strategist, managing media research and cross-platform planning and buying for TV, radio, cable, and digital audio/video. With 29 years of media experience, she helps our clients develop strategies and media plans that effectively communicate across many forms of audio and video platforms. Prior to coming to MBI, Lisa worked on United Airlines and Samsonite accounts at Leo Burnett in Chicago and RPA, a national full-service agency. During her 20+ years at RPA, she was promoted to SVP, Director of Media, and managed a 93-person staff across seven offices with over $385 million in media billings, working across many client categories, including Honda, Acura, Charles Schwab, American Century, United Healthcare and La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and volunteering in the Atlanta community. She is passionate about bringing smart and creative media thinking to every client’s marketing plan to create a positive impact on their business. Heather Paris

Heather has a 20+ year proven track record as a brand strategist crossing cultures, generations, continents and industries. She has created game-changing omni-channel strategies for Fortune 500+ companies such as Toyota, Samsung, Philip Morris reduced harm products, Hewlett Packard, United Technologies and CAE. Prior to joining MBI in 2021, Heather was EVP, Brand Strategy Director, overseeing the #1 FMCG account for Publicis with a multi-disciplined Strategy group including SME expertise in Channel, Brand, Research, Content and UX/CX disciplines. Prior to joining MBI in 2021, Heather focused on highly innovative startups in Life Sciences and Wellness industries. Today, Heather’s mandate is to expand expand MBI’s future-forward expertise, impacting real-time, organic growth for its vast client portfolio. When enjoying downtime, you can find Heather in the garden, and volunteering as a Nationally Certified EMT. -
