It's founders came from Arnold Worldwide and Wieden & Kennedy to build an agency that helps its clients add real value to people's lives. With robust practices in outdoor lifestyle, food & beverage and entertainment NORTH's work has created global fanbases for brands that include Columbia Sportswear, Subaru, Hydro Flask, OXO, Laika Studios, Oscilloscope Laboratories, CLIF Bar, Pacific Foods, Deschutes Brewery, Hood River Distillery and Humm Kombucha among many others.

Mark Ray
Chief Creative Officer
Mark cut his teeth in design in the Midwest as an art director and creative director on national and global brands including Jack Daniel’s, Volkswagen and Anheuser Busch. In 1999, he was named executive creative director and managing partner at Arnold Worldwide. There, he helped manage a national agency network, and crafted global brand campaigns for Jack Daniels among others. In 2006, Mark took the leap to Portland, OR, to found North, where he spearheads all creative strategy, concepting and production. -
Jordan Delapoer
Managing Director
Formerly an account supervisor and strategic planner at Wieden+Kennedy, Jordan has crafted strategy for EA and Target, and in the process managed Target’s Black Friday and Holiday initiatives—the biggest and most critical business periods for Target. He has over 15 years of advertising and branding experience, and at North, Jordan leads the brand strategy and account teams as well as the pizza parties. -
Rebecca Armstrong
CEO
With a career in agency and design management spanning 30 years, Rebecca has seen trends come and go, but in her opinion three enduring marketing tenets remain: 1) tell the truth 2) make it fascinating 3) your customer will do what's easiest. She has presided over fruitful collaborations with many brands including Columbia Sportswear, Nike, Keen Footwear, Hydro Flask, Dr Martens (shoes), Boeing and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation among others. She is most proud of the work she has done with her partners at North to build a national powerhouse known for the craft of its strategic thinking as well as its creative.
