Jeff Monahan
Founder & Creative Director
Jeff Monahan has written, designed, and directed a diverse portfolio of award-winning work for organizations such as Bang & Olufsen, New England Baptist Hospital, Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, GMAC Home Services, and Vera Wang. Jeff is an angel investor and company advisor whose personal works have been presented by Celebrity Series and Design Museum. Currently, he is board chair of 4As New England Council and co-chair of the 4As Foundation. He is board chair emeritus of Design Museum, director emeritus of the Luxury Marketing Council, and a Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award nominee. Jeff also helps lead Art is Art, a joint program with Allen & Gerritsen focused on exploring the intersection of commercial and fine art. -
Chokdee Rutirasiri
Systems Designer + Client Services Director
Chokdee Rutirasiri is a systems designer with extensive experience across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Proper Villains, Chokdee served as founder and CEO of Story+Structure, a studio that designed solutions for clients in education, government, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology. His work has helped organizations from startup through enterprise-scale to achieve complex goals, such as promoting HPV education and vaccination in marginalized communities, facilitating online learning at a global scale, and creating a digital library for the Head Start. In addition to his role as systems designer, Chokdee leads Proper Villains’ client development and services practice. Chokdee is an adjunct professor at Boston College, where he teaches design thinking. He also serves as an affiliate of the SafeLab at Columbia University School of Social Work, and is a board member of both Innovators for Purpose and Take It to the People.
