Scott Davis
Chief Growth Officer
Scott has over 20 years of brand, marketing strategy and new product development experience that he has brought to bear for many Prophet clients. Scott is the author of "Brand Asset Management: Driving Profitable Growth Through Your Brands" (2000), named one of the top 30 books of 2000. Scott’s second book, "Building the Brand-Driven Business: Operationalize Your Brand to Drive Profitable Growth" (2002) was published to highly regarded reviews. His third book, "The Shift: The Transformation of Today's Marketers into Tomorrow's Growth Drivers" was released in 2009. And, he most recently co-authored "Making the Healthcare Shift: The Transformation to Consumer-Centricity" which was released in March 2019. His previous work experience includes 12 years at Kuczmarski & Associates (K&A), an innovation and branding consulting company, where he was Senior Partner and founder of the Brand Asset Management™ practice. Prior to K&A, Scott worked at Procter & Gamble, where he focused on a number of top global brands. Scott is an Adjunct Professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a featured speaker at the University of Chicago's Executive Program on "Marketing Services Companies," and a guest lecturer at other top graduate schools, including NYU, Harvard, Notre Dame, Medill, and Columbia. Scott earned a Master of Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Marketing, Finance, and Management Strategy and a B.S. in Marketing Management from the University of Illinois. -
Paul Greenall
Chief Strategy Officer
Paul is a senior partner and chief strategy officer, based in San Francisco. A growth strategist with strong expertise in increasing enterprise values, he uses his business development skills to steer clients toward uncommon growth. In addition, Paul manages Prophet’s corporate development activity for the firm. Paul’s high-energy consulting approach includes focusing on what matters most in transformations–the importance of aligning Executive teams and building great talent. He has worked closely on dozens of merger-and-acquisition transactions, concentrating especially on healthcare and operations. Before joining Prophet, he held senior executive roles in enterprise strategy and corporate development at McKesson and EY. The native Londoner earned his Business Management degrees from the CASS Business School, University of London. He lives with his family in San Francisco, where he studies viticulture in his spare time, planting vines and making his own (drinkable!) wines. -
Mike Leiser
Chief Transformation Officer
Prophet's Chief Transformation Officer Mike has more than 20 years of brand and marketing strategy experience combining brand strategy consulting and industry marketing management. He is based in Prophet's Chicago office and is responsible for leading major client engagements and providing thought leadership. Mike's mix of industry and consulting experience has enabled him to help clients develop and implement brand and marketing strategies that build market leadership, create a blueprint for growth/investment and drive financial performance. He has consulted for corporations in technology, pharmaceuticals, durable goods, consumer packaged goods, financial services and telecommunications both in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to joining Prophet, Mike was Executive Director at Landor St. James, a brand strategy consulting firm, where he was responsible for building the Landor strategy practice and overseeing key client relationships. His prior experience also includes the Quaker Oats Company where he led marketing for the snacks business. Mike is active in management education and training and has spoken at both corporate forums and brand and marketing conferences. He has been published in a number of periodicals and has spoken at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago. Mike holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. -
David Aaker
Vice Chairman
David Aaker, hailed the “Father of Modern Branding,” serves as Vice-Chair at Prophet. He’s a recognized authority on branding, has developed several recognizable concepts including the Aaker brand vision model and has received numerous awards for his contributions to the science of marketing. In 2015, David Aaker was inducted into the American Marketing Association Hall of Fame for his lifetime achievements in marketing. In 2020, he was the recipient of the Sheth Foundation Medal for Exceptional Contribution to Marketing Scholarship and Practice. Aaker has authored and published hundreds of articles and 17 books, including Owning Game-Changing Subcategories: Uncommon Growth in the Digital Age, Aaker on Branding: 20 Principles That Drive Success, Brand Relevance, Spanning Silos, Brand Portfolio Strategy, Building Strong Brands, and From Fargo to the World of Brands. His books have been translated in 18 languages and sold over 1 million copies. His words and teaching have offered guidance and inspiration to marketing leadership at many of the world’s leading brands: "David Aaker has truly given the business world a gift: A highly concise and wonderfully cogent and insightful tutorial on the principles of brand stewardship and leadership." ---Joseph V. Chiaki Nishino
President
Chiaki is Prophet's President, and runs the company’s North American business as part of the Executive Committee. She also leads the company’s global Women in Leadership and Diversity efforts, and sits on Prophet’s Board of Directors. She brings extensive experience in growth strategy consulting. Using segmentation & value proposition, customer experience, brand strategy and marketing, she’s led clients in financial services, communication and healthcare to new avenues of expansion. And she’s an industry leader in customer engagement and marketing accountability, having spoken at the Conference Board and the Association of National Advertisers. Her projects are wide ranging, encompassing a variety of marketing research approaches, a commitment to working effectively with design/ digital teams and an understanding that customers are complex and multi-faceted. (So is she: She’s loves origami, started kickboxing in recent past and thinks her biggest strengths as a consultant come from raising her boys.) Prior to joining Prophet, Chiaki was a Partner at Lippincott Mercer, and worked at Mercer Management Consulting, as well as Dell Computers. In October 2010 Chiaki Nishino was named a "Future Leader" by Consulting Magazine. She earned a B.A. in Government and East Asian Studies from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. in Marketing Strategy from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was designated Palmer Scholar. She is fluent in Japanese. -
Chan Suh
Chief Digital Officer
Chan Suh is a senior partner and chief digital officer in Prophet’s New York office. A well-known visionary in the digital strategy space, Chan brings more than 20 years of experience to Prophet. Prior to joining Prophet, Chan headed Broome Crosby Ltd., a consultancy that helped develop next generation digital commerce and social innovations. In that capacity, Chan served as the head of the Samsung Digital Innovation Team. From 1995 until 2009, Chan was Chairman & CEO of Agency.com, a company he co-founded. Started with $80 and a belief in the digital future, Agency.com grew from a 2-person shop to 1,800 employees in 14 offices in US, Europe and Asia helping clients such as 3M, American Express, Apple, British Airways, British Telecom, Discovery Channel, Ebay, Energizer, HP, Ikea, MetLife, LG, Mars, Motorola, Nike. Chan led the company through its NASDAQ IPO and subsequent privatization. Prior to Agency.com, Chan worked at Time Inc. where he helped create Pathfinder, Time Warner's first global web service, while he held marketing positions at Life and Vibe magazines. Before Time Inc., Chan worked at Murdoch Magazines and Condé Nast. Chan attended Sarah Lawrence College and served as a trustee of the college. -
Amy Silverstein
Chief Financial Officer
Amy is Prophet’s global Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. Based in New York, she is in charge of driving both revenue and bottom-line growth, drawing on her extensive background in law, investment banking and finance. A “beyond-the-numbers” thinker, she is committed to creating and cultivating an environment where people do their best. With more than 20 years of experience, she’s learned that purpose is essential, and that people thrive in workplaces that encourage them to be authentic and true to themselves. Before joining Prophet, she was CFO at Kantar Media and Kantar Consulting. Amy also held key financial positions at Ogilvy & Mather, heading financial planning and acquisition activity. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed multiple M&A transactions, overseen restructuring events and led companies through numerous periods of rapid change and growth. An expert in change management, she is skilled at leading process improvements that maximize results. She earned her undergraduate degree in finance and marketing from McGill University in Montreal, and her JD/MBA from York University in Toronto. Besides her husband and three kids, she’s passionate about running, yoga and cooking. -
Michael Dunn
Chairman and CEO
Michael Dunn is Chairman and CEO of Prophet and has helped orchestrate the firm's tremendous growth over the past decade. This includes expanding the firm's global presence and enhancing Prophet's position as the premier brand and marketing consultancy committed to helping clients grow better. As Prophet's leader, Michael oversees the development of the firm's strategy, client relationships, and people. Michael also serves as a strategic advisor on client engagements, and has deep expertise in the specialty retail, financial services, high technology, and Internet sectors. Michael is co-author of Building the Brand-Driven Business with Scott Davis, and is author of The Marketing Accountability Imperative. Prior to joining Prophet, Michael served as President and CEO of Context Integration, a high-growth systems integrator with U.S. and Indian operations. Michael received his B.S. from Haverford College and an M.B.A./M.A. in Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
