Amy Gattoni, HMCC is a Senior Account Manager at Jack Health with a flair for leading with strategy first. She's the healthcare market lead for our quickly growing Boston team, where she supports some of our growing clients on their quest to bring experiences to the forefront of healthcare marketing. What sparked Amy’s interest in healthcare marketing? “Believe it or not, as a little girl I didn't dream of one day working in healthcare marketing. Then I was diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 15 and began my first healthcare journey,” Amy shares. “When I was 19, I had a life-saving spinal fusion surgery that corrected my spine with rods and screws so my ribs wouldn't puncture my lungs. Within weeks, my life was back to normal, and I’ve never looked back. It was my first healthcare journey, but certainly not my last. Today, I marvel at medicine’s ability to impact human life for the better. And now I know, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.” June is designated as National Scoliosis Awareness Month, with the goal of highlight the growing need for public education, early detection and awareness about scoliosis and its prevalence.
