Trick or Grill made Burger King the star of Halloween in Puerto Rico. To get on the island’s trick-or-treat route, we created the “Mini Whopper Jr.”, a candy-sized Whopper wrapped like a Halloween treat. Families and teens redeemed coupons through the BK app and collected the bite-sized burgers in just five hours. The stunt drove a 139 percent increase in store traffic, boosted app sign-ups by 20 percent, generated over 2 million social impressions, and earned $250,000 in media coverage, showing how creativity can make a QSR part of a cultural moment.
